  2. Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to event starting – LATECOMERS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED. Note that due to demand, if the room has reached capacity, even if you are “early” you may not get admission.
  3. Be respectful of the decision of the advisor/host of event if you are not given admittance, there are several more events in future.

 

Abstract: 

 

This workshop will introduce students to the concept of intrapreneurship and the importance of entrepreneurial mindset at the corporate level. This workshop will provide examples of innovative products and processes implemented by big companies as a result of intrapreneurship practice. Students will have the opportunity to meet with EPICentre’s program coordinator after the workshop for consultation.

 Biography: 

Sydney Thompson is an Honours graduate from the University of Windsor in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship & Strategy. Sydney is passionate about creating opportunities for meaningful connection and relationship-building through shared learning experiences. Through education, an understanding of intersectional environmentalism and a genuine connection with her community, she aims to encourage growth and resilience in collaborative economy. |

Paul Brereton is an entrepreneur and small business owner who believes that putting tools, resources, and know-how into the hands of entrepreneurs, especially students, is one of the best ways to promote progress and economic growth. Paul holds an MBA from the Odette School of Business and likes to leverage his first-hand experience using entrepreneurship principals to build a stronger, more innovative community.
